IVF

IVF in the sense of in vitro fertilization is a treatment method in which mature eggs are taken from the woman’s ovaries and fertilized with the sperm taken from the man outside the womb. The embryo from this fertilization is transferred to the woman’s uterus to continue the normal pregnancy.

In the ICSI method, high motility and quality sperms are extracted from the male semen. In the laboratory, the selected sperm is injected into the egg to fertilize it, and the embryo formed is transferred to the uterus to continue its normal development.
